Definition
of Unbearable
The unbearable adjective is
used to describe that or that which is difficult or impossible to endure :
endure, resist. The concept can refer to a person, a situation, a feeling,
etc.
For example: "That man is
unbearable! All he does is complain " , " When I got
up, I felt an unbearable pain in the column " , " The new
film of the German director seemed unbearable, I almost fell asleep in the
middle of the show " .
The unbearable, by its characteristics,
causes discomfort, annoyance or suffering . That's why you want
it to end or be left behind as soon as possible, in order to recover your peace
of mind or your well-being .
Suppose that, in a bar, there is very
loud music , which sounds at such a high volume that it prevents
conversation. In this context, two friends who try to maintain a dialogue
can not hear each other, so they decide to leave. Once outside the place,
both commented that the music was unbearable : there was no way to
tolerate it because of its excessive volume .
Take the case of a man who is
always looking for an excuse to argue or fight with others. It is an
individual who contradicts all the time to his interlocutors, presents his
opinions as if they were absolute truths and even tends to be disrespectful in
the deal. Faced with this reality, many affirm that he is an unbearable
individual , with whom it is preferable not to dialogue as, otherwise,
conflicts arise.
"The unbearable" , finally, is
the title with whichthe movie "The Cable Guy" was
known in Argentina , with the leading role of Jim Carrey andMatthew
Broderick and the direction of Ben Stiller .
